The date of the Citizens' Assembly on the Future of Canadian Federalism is fast approaching... The Assembly will take place on Saturday 14th June.

Description:

The Institute of Intergovernmental Relations is hosting a Citizens’ Assembly on the future of Canadian federalism. The participants will have the opportunity to discuss this topic with experts and other citizens. A $10 honorarium will be paid to each participant and a lunch will be provided.

9:30-11:00: discussions in small groups

11:00-11:20: presentation by Peter Leslie (Queen’s University) “The Canadian Federation”

11:20-11:40: presentation by Kathy Brock (Queen’s University) “Challenges facing the Federation and the Redefined Role of the Federal Government”

11:40-12:00: Q&A session

12:00-2:00: discussions in small groups
