After two citizens' assemblies in French (Liège, in French-speaking Belgium, and Montreal, in Québec), the next assembly will be organized in an English-speaking setting, Kingston, Ontario. On Saturday, 14th June, I hope to gather fifteen citizens for an assembly on the future of Canadian federalism. From 9:30am to 2:00pm, the participants will have the opportunity to discuss with politicians, political scientists, and fellow citizens about topics related to Canadian federalism ! By the way, participants don't need any political knowledge or even interest in politics. The event will take place at the Institute of Intergovernmental Relations, Queen's University, where I am currently a visiting scholar.
Above all, each participant will receive a $10 honorarium and a lunch will be provided! From the previous assemblies, I can tell that the discussions will be vey interesting!
For more details, please don't hesitate to contact me at Min.Reuchamps@ulg.ac.be.
See you on June, 14!
